Bio

We started when being a 2 piece wasn't cool.
"So what music do you play?"
"We're 2 piece bluesy rocky thing I guess"
"2 piece? wow ok, so just drums and guitar?"
"you got it!"
"OK, so how do you make music without a bass guitar?"
"well, you see...bass players are like condoms....if you know what you are doing....you don't need one"
"riiiiiight...ok"

And its true...

in 2013, our 11 track all killer surfy/rocky/countryey/bluesy monster debut titled "Kill the funk" certainly made a few people pay attention. Receiving rotation on a few European radio stations, we're now loved more in France than berets, red wine, pastries and riding a bike wearing a stripey red and white top combined.

Back on local soil now, and 2017 will see the bass playerless duo release their second full length album through the iconic, and quite possibly one of the most important independent Melbourne rock labels, Off the Hip Records. 'Broken Blues' will be full of the catchy guitar riffs and punchy drums you'd expect from the duo, but with a little R&B feel, think the 'Enchantment Under The Sea Dance' from Back to the future 2. Not only will you be moving to the catchy tunes, you'll also have tears in your eyes, as you slow dance with your favourite gal or guy.

These blokes rip rip wood chip, turn it into paper.
Have seen them live around the usual Melbourne places. Nice sound for a 2 piece.
Little Mickey Rooney man mouse, laughter cracking much.

There's some big sounds in there that probably come off really heavy and well live. Cherry bar sounds, sweaty, loud, live and beer drenched.
