Bio

Facepalm A Piñata are a 5 piece dance-post-hardcore band from Ipswich, QLD. The band combine elements of modern electronic music (dubstep, drum’n’bass, electro, hardstyle) and post hardcore. They draw mild comparisons to acts such as Enter Shikari and Sky Eats Airplane, but are attempting to carve out their own unique style of hardcore. The bands latest release, "That’s a Catchy Diagnosis, You Could Dance To That" was a self-produced effort, recorded, mixed and mastered by vocalist Kieran Childs at Facepalm Studios. Kieran is also known as Zerobit, a popular local dubstep artist, and guitarist for experimental hardcore act Decades Away. The rest of the band is comprised of friends he rounded up to bring Facepalm to the stage. To date the band have 2 releases; 2010 ep ‘Infected’ and 2011 ep ‘That’s a Catchy Diagnosis, You Could Dance To That’. Facepalm drastically changed their style following the release of “Infected” and are now working on new material as a follow up to “Catchy Diagnosis”.
