Bio

Fade In Mona Lisa are a psychedelic rock outfit who formed in early 2014. In this short time, Nick, Liam, Tim and James have managed to define a unique sound. After having grown up with strong influences from the music and culture of the 60's, a reflection of their individual love for various music and arts can be heard in each song, combining many different influences to draw together one celestial tone. Their charismatic live shows must be witnessed to appreciate Fade In Mona Lisa’s music in it's true form. Their debut record 'Tents Intense' has received a warm reception in their first year as a band, including their first single ‘The Bantam Beat’ going onto rotation on Triple J Unearthed Digital Radio. After winning the Macquarie Uni Battle Of The Bands, they were invited to open the day at Macquarie’s Conception Day for the likes of The Preachers, Kingswood and Art VS Science. They have also been given the opportunity to support some well established bands such as, The Cairos and The Owls. When asked to describe their music, Liam replied; "Imagine if Van Morrison took acid, watched a Tarantino film and then went for a swim."

It's like the best of psychedelic 60s mixed with modern Surf rock/ indie. Oh yeah!
