Bio

Perth’s Fait (AKA Elise Higgins) burst onto the scene last year with her critically acclaimed debut release Atmosphere – a cinematic 5 track EP comprised of reverb drenched guitars, strings, piano and noise.

In the past year she sold out her debut show, completed a successful eastern states tour, performed at RTRFM’s In The Pines, the West Australian Music Festival and Bigsound, and was nominated for a WAMI for Most Popular New Act.

Fait has also been making waves internationally – Atmosphere was exclusively released in Japan in April through the iconic Tower Records, and was feature release across 90+ stores. It has also amassed more than 1 million plays on Spotify.

Fait live are Elise Higgins (guitar/keys), Rob Stephens (bass), Mike Antonas (guitar) and Darrell Sundai (drums).

When I hear this I see images of water lapping on rocks, wind brushing through branches and me hunched over a keyboard writing a wanky review when really I should just be taking in this beautiful, hypnotic piece of music.
