Falloway have been locked in the studio writing and recording for most of 2016 with the fruits of their labour to be released soon. The first single ‘How It Ends’, mixed by Rob Agostini at Soundbaker Studios (Tim & Jean, Husband, The Panics) and mastered by Jack The Bear (Tinpan Orange, Midnight Juggernauts, Thylacine), embraces contemporary rock and pop with a lyrical juxtaposition. Commencing with a pumping drum beat and bound by the punchy bass lines of guest bassist Brad Forest (Timothy Nelson & The Infidels, High Horse), the rhythm section forms a formidable foundation for this heavy pop number. The guitar hook is reminiscent of ‘All The Young Dudes’ (David Bowie/Mott The Hoople) and allows the listener to saunter through verses observing an insane character who is trying to force life into a relationship that has died.
