Bio

Faux Bandit are starting 2017 with a fist full of rock and rage with the release of their sophomore EP, ‘Flex’ (released 5th January, 2017).

Having already released an EP in 2015, and in general, spending years playing music together, Adam Brill (Guitar/Vox) and Josh Johnstone (Drums) have developed a focus on solid riffs and groove-based rock with their sophomore EP.

Getting in and out like real bandits they pack a heap of variation into this new 4 track EP that explores the darker sides of life and love. Overall, it's a punch to the face.

"Gritty, raw choruses and chunky riffs; it’s hard to believe this is the work of a two-piece." The Music

"A cocktail of raw vox and slinky riffs, hammered into a groove” Tone Deaf

"Loud, tight and technical alt-rock.” Music Director, 4zzz

"It all culminates in a thrashing, splashing barrage of rock."AAA Backstage

This song's a sweaty mess. Oh wait, that's me after rocking out hard to this tune.

These boys don't hold back, that's for certain.

The 1.20 mark ABSOLUTELY SHREDS. There's a real urgency to this song that keeps me holding on until the very last note.
