Artist:Felicia Alima

Australian R&B artist and songwriter Felicia Alima grew up in a family accustomed to art and music, (her father being a great influence as an avid guitarist and musician). Growing-up in Perth, Australia, she immersed herself in the Hip-Hop scene, where there was no doubt where her aspirations would take her. Moving to the USA in 2002, Alima pursued the art of mixtape DJing. After 4 years of releasing mixes she took the bold first step in a solo music career. In 2006, she released her first EP “The Way We Do”, which featured a song called “Leavin’ Here Tonight”. That song was picked-up by Perth radio station Nova 93.7, and she became the first unsigned artist with a song on regular commercial rotation.
