Bio

Brazilian born Fernando Aragones is a singer songwriter currently creating an original blend of rustic roots/folk/reggae from his base in Sydney Australia. His gentle harmonious tunes are easy listening, however his undeniable samba influence adds an uplifting element to his style, transfixing the listener into a unique journey from a recognisably acoustic sound to the folk style music of his native Brazil. Fernando’s smooth vocals and soulful lyrics flow seamlessly from English to Portuguese completing an enchanting infusion of amorous and expressive melodies. In his first solo offering, Minds of Gold EP, Fernando’s depth and talent as a solo singer songwriter is illuminated in the presentation of an eclectic collation of beautifully crafted tunes. Demonstrating the diversity of his influences, the listener is treated to an alternative acoustic experience featuring unmistakable Brazilian rhythm peppered with percussion and hip hop elements, all the while being seduced by strong soulful lyrics which cumulate in an alluring yet effortless listening experience.
