Bio

Festivus was formed in early 2004 when the Kavanagh brothers got together with Chris Danvers to make some new music in the city of Newcastle. Taking up residency in an old abandon chemist the four of them set up about rehearsing and jamming on some songs. Taking influence from super hero theme tunes, afternoon game shows and small bush parasites the writing took on a decidedly different sound. Festivus played there first gig in mid 2004 and since then have gained a strong following among the punters of newcastle. They recently went up to the kavanaghs old bush property in the hills of monkerai with master engineer mr Jason Winn of kettle of fish fame and recorded songs for an ep to be hopefully released around the end of this year. They continue to play around newcastle. For gigs just look for there mascot the festivus tick and he can tell you where they will be playing next.

This song is evil as hell... The keys sound massive and its good to hear you guys have voices... You guys can mess with your time signatures yet still keep it dancable... or in this case moshable...
