Bio

THE FIOR is a Melbourne Indie-Rock band formed in 2019.

The band consists of Irish-born singer/songwriter Conor Bermingham, lead guitarist Ben Rohy, bassist Damon Brammall and drummer Jesse Porter.

Conor, Ben and Jesse met in their final years of high school and began writing songs together in the summer of 2017. They formed the group Social On The Veranda. Damon later joined the band in 2018 after meeting Conor and Ben at university.

SOTV was active from 2017-2019 and in that time played numerous support and headline shows including a sold out EP launch at Matthew Flinders Hotel and a headline show at Northcote Social Club. They supported bands such as We The Kings, British India and Make Them Suffer and worked their way to the finals of the ‘Battle of the Bands’, playing on The Push stage at St Kilda Festival

In 2019, the band reflected on two years of experiences and adventures. They decided that although they wanted to continue their music journey together, they were in need of a fresh start. Moving on from Social on the Veranda, The Fior was born.

The Fior released their debut single ‘Outsider’ in August, 2019 and followed up with ‘We Don’t Know What We’re Here For in September of the same year. They spent the rest of 2019 focusing on building their audience through explosive live shows in iconic inner city music venues around Melbourne

With big plans for 2020, join the band and be part of their journey as they bring their sound to the world.
