The Story So Far... During their 3 years together Fire Underground have built a solid live reputation. As a two piece Daniel (vocals/guitar/piano/clarinet) and Doyle (drums/backup vocals) played over 150 shows all over Australia, and in late 2006 completed their first ever overseas tour, taking in shows in the US, Canada before heading to Europe to play London, Berlin and Amsterdam and appeared at this year’s Pushover festival in Melbourne supporting Australian icons Silverchair, one of only two bands to be voted onto the festival by fans. Drawing influence from everything from rock'n'roll to swing music and combining it with the high energy and intensity of punk bands like The Stooges, Refused and The Hives, Fire Underground have developed their own style that is highly entertaining to watch live, is powerful but fun, and thoroughly danceable.
