What’s a Flamingo Parade and what does it sound like? Envision mid-aughts Bloc Party spending the night absolutely sending it with The Vaccines and Kid Cudi. It’s a high-energy rock and roll racket offset by the kind of smooth and smoky vocals that slither off the stage and hook themselves straight to your veins. That’s what brand new Brisbane trio Flamingo Parade sound like, and they’re here to quicken some unsuspecting pulses. There’s some familiar faces and some new ones aboard. Singer-songwriter Mo might be better known by GALLVS, a moniker he’s adopted in electrifying crowds around the country both on his own as well as riding shotgun with the likes of fellow rapidly rising stars Mida$.Gold and Carmouflage Rose. Rounding out Flamingo Parade are Ryan on guitar slinging out more licks than an ice cream factory and Lachy bashing anything with a drum-skin on it behind the sticks.
