Florian Nites, AKA DJ Ben Stacey started his music career as singer​/ guita​rist in Australian rock band Bodyjar in the late 90’s then went on to pursue a career in electronica, re-locating to London and then NYC between 1998 - 2001 to follow his musical passion. <p> Since then Ben has run and played at countless residencies in London, Melbourne and Sydney, including Turnmills (U.K), Revolver (Melb) and was part of Melbourne’s 33 1/3 DJ roster. Ben has opened shows for artists such as the Beastie Boys, Beck, James Lavelle, Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash, Mr Scruff, Stanton Warriors, Freest​ylers, Plump DJ’s, Krafty Kuts, Greg Wilson, Avalanches DJ’s, Nickodemus, DJ Spun and Recloose, among others. <p> “I like to weave an eclectic mix of assorted Electr​onica, Club, Tech House, Disco/Nu Disco and try to stay constantly busy, adding new textures and layers over the mix with samples, scratching, acapella’s and effects to give the tracks new life.
