Bio

Drawing from a wide spectrum of influences including punk, indie, folk & reggae, The Flying So High-Os have honed an original sound with strong pop sensibilities. Stirring melodies paired with darker, polarising lyrical layers are the group's trademark.

Currently on a five-date tour of New Zealand's North Island and with a new album recorded, this year is already shaping up to be a big one for the band.

Currently listening to the whole album because Jack hi-jacked the speakers at work... Kidding, I asked him to chuck it on after hearing this little gem. What a distinct style you guys have going on here! Jerome = king of nylon string. Keep being you, fellas. Looking forward to the new jams in a few months.

I saw somewhere that Georgia Maq said you're her favourite songwriter, and I can see why. This is what Meridian would sound like if Max Stern grew up in Melbourne instead of Ohio.
