Bio

A support band The Tea Party, Seether and Lacuna Coil all have in common, Flynn Effect began their journey in 2014 and won hearts Australia wide since their debut. With two albums and an EP behind them, the band traveled many genres to arrive to their Neon era, described by fans as ‘the shiny band’, or ‘that Tron band’. Drowning in an LED ocean of blue, wielding glowing instruments and a lightsaber (read: mic stand), combining soaring vocals with sizzling guitars and of course, 80’s synths, the band is gearing up for their 4th release, as always recorded, mixed and mastered in a living room, by the band - a Flynn Effect staple.

'Supporting The Tea Party tonight were Flynn Effect who clearly won some new fans tonight . The new Melbourne residents, whilst being lathered in blue lasers peering through heavy smoke and led lighting, projected their haunting vocals and deep rhythmic beats on the growing crowd. They owned the stage tonight and definitely a band to keep on your ‘to watch’ list’ - The Rocker Rag (The Tea Party Black River Tour)

'The Max Watt’s filled up quite nicely so that the first support act Flynn Effect was already playing their 30-minute set in front of a decent crowd. Their style is rather alternative rock than metal and is more in line with Lacuna Coil’s more recent work. The band had a lot of local support from their fans and was well received. Flynn Effect did fit the bill of the night and was a great warm-up for what was to come.' - Heavy Metal Bands Info (Lacuna Coil Delirium Tour)
