Bio

The seeds for The Follies were planted back in 2008 when Maddie and Pat met whilst studying nursing at university. When a mutual love of good music was finally established in 2011 weekend jams soon followed. When fellow nursing student and good friend Alex joined the jams to play some chilled out beats on the drums the band was formed. Over the next year original songs we’re produced by the bucket load and a solid fan base was established. The biggest developments for the band came in early 2013 when Alex left to travel the world and replaced with the very cool French import Guigui. It was then that The Follies was officially born. The addition of Guigui supplied the experience and energy the band needed to move out of the garage and onto the radio waves. Packed out live shows and the first “Follies” EP soon followed. We hope you enjoy listening to our songs as much as we enjoyed writing them! Much love from The Follies!
