Fonetiks is an emcee emerging from the isolated state of Western Australia. At 23, his passion for hip hop has begun to strengthen in turn with his abilities as a lyricist. Fonetiks first took interest in hip hop around the age of 15, where he began listening to the typical mainstream acts that were coming out of America. Over the next few years he began writing his own lyrics and competing in local competitions. In 2004, Fonetiks took part in Metro City’s MC Spotlight where he met another local MC, Squared. Through this fellow artist, he became acquainted with DJ Volatile, and the two quickly teamed up to form RhymeAudial
