The Fools
Originating from a small southern village in the 'Land of the Long White Cloud' - New Zealand, the Four-piece band, The Fools, has flooded the Brisbane music scene bringing a smooth and groovy indie rock from across the sea. Having recently taken out Brisbane's annual Battle of the Bands to a sold-out crowd, this foolish quartet is set to drop their latest single on the 2nd of December!
Since sailing into the scene in March of 2018, The Fools debut single 'Crazy' has reached 25,000 streams, followed by an onslaught of local gigs and two additional single tracks - 'Dreamer' and 'Reaper'. Towards the end of the year, the boys are set to support Great Gable, in addition to gearing up to record their first EP set for an early 2020 release.
Having listened to a large variety of music growing up, The Fools draw their sound from many local and international influences, from the likes; Fat Freddy's Drop, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Frank Ocean, and Six60. Incorporating playful, riff-driven instrumentation, with relatable lyrical content the group’s infectious charm and groove will make a lasting impression.

I'm floating away in the sky to this. I love its light spirited bless feeling. Perfect sounds to take out on the road, spend summer with or day dream to.

Okay I'm feeling something a teensy bit special about this track. Dude can sing. Band can play. That's obvious from just a first listen. But there's this crackle of exciting electricity that you can hear as the band click together and give us something that's a familiar but still fresh.
