Bio

Australian alt-pop trio Forest Falls has performed blockbuster supports with Husky (Australia) and Paper
Lions (Canada), appeared onstage at Melbourne’s St Kilda Fest, performed sold-out tour shows all over Australia, received Best Band, Best EP, and Best Live Performance honors (Spreading the Seed), and featured in coveted slots on Balcony TV (Australia), Vulture TV (Australia), and ABC Radio Melbourne.

Big, bold and heartrendingly honest, it’s the Forest Falls sound that strikes you first. Multi-part vocal harmonies weave amongst a warmly orchestrated palette of guitars, keyboards, strings and brooding, vintage synth-laden beats. Timeless, never overdone, and always perfectly measured.

Marking a distinct evolution to 2015’s EP Hounds, new EP Modern Love (2019) is a driving alt-pop sparkler showcasing the evolution of Forest Falls’ searing musicianship and diversity of influence.

But no surprises here. Just class, skill, and great tunes to boot.

If a tough but fair cop in an '80s action-romance brushed their flowing mullet to the sounds of this track I wouldn't bat an eyelid. It's authentic and big sounding.

Some lovely elements in this song, and also a lot going on! The production is a little muddy in places but maybe that thunking bass aesthetic is intentional. Bit of a throwback M83 / chillwave feel...
