Found At Sea are a Sydney-based five piece who have been creating music since 2005, taking a slow burn method in crafting their own unique take on indie pop/rock. With influences from acts like The National, Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear and M83, the band combine story-telling, melodic indie with atmospheric synth-tinged widescreen pop. They released their debut album 'Lumières' in 2010. The album was recorded and mixed by ARIA winning producer Paul Mckercher (Sarah Blasko, Augie March, You Am I) and toured it throughout that year, clocking up kms to Melbourne, Newcastle, Canberra and beyond. 2013 sees the release of The Coloured Heart EP, a 5 song collection which showcases an evolution in the band's songwriting and sound, takes their guitar-driven melodic indie into more nuanced and textured territories.
