Bio

Frankie Crea is a musician singer/songwriter guitarist and composer from Perth, Western Australia. His musical style contains elements of melodic guitar riffs, blistering rock guitar solos, all accompanied by various instruments and lyrics that give a unique fresh sound to modern rock.

Frankie formed a rock band in 2016 with school friends called Park Ward, he was there former lead guitarist whom which had minor success with Triple J Unearthed and played various gigs around Perth, Western Australia alongside many well known acts in the local music scene. Being a rock influenced musician, Frankie has also collaborated with Australian hip hop artists such as Jaks and Demolition providing guitar work for their songs, most recently playing guitar on Demolitions new track "Weekend Nights" which recieved major success reaching number 1 on the Triple J Unearthed Top 100 weekly charts and being played on Triple J Radio. Frankie left Park Ward in 2018 and decided to pursue his solo career.

Frankie released his debut non album single "Ketamine Queen" on May 25 2018 which recieved radio airplay around the world and also received positive reviews. Putting him on the map to follow up with a new lead single titled "Dream" from his upcoming debut EP album "Countless Days".

Frankie Crea's latest single "Dream" explores the ups and downs of his past relationships. The track serves up a unique post psychedelic, melodic and energetic vibe made to captivate the listener, alongside a soulful piano section, funky bass lines, melancholic "Dreamy" guitar and vocals and hard hitting drums. The track finishes with a harmonized outro guitar solo that really defines the song title, giving a silky lucid dream like feel and sound.

The single "Dream" from Frankie's debut EP "Countless Days" will be released worldwide in online music stores 28th of September this year with the EP being released worldwide on online music stores aswell on October 12.

Has deceptively good control of vocals, but it doesn't come across that way. Very refreshing way of singing, stands out amongst a crowd of artists who sound the same. Really liked the arrangement around 1:30 too.
