Freedom Fighta: Imakulate Akshuns & Phatlipz Vex team up after years as individual rhyme writers/MCs to form the Hip Hop squadron known as Freedom Fighta. Phatlipz being a freestyler fore-mostly but also with talented skills in writing & Imak Aks a writer that dabbles in freestyle. Both emcees have been inspired by a lot of international Hip Hop, but mainly American artists around the 'golden era' of the mid 90's, although they also love the Funk/Soul/Jazz & Blues of the late 70's/early 80's which really comes across in their music. Their taste in music is not limited to Hip Hop with both of them possessing a broad palette when in music, enjoying many facets of musical art. Working alongside some of Brisbane's most talented musicians & producers they are they are surrounded by inspiration which adds important characteristics to their artistic interpretations of Hip Hop . They have started playing gigs in their hometown of Brisbane & are looking to tour Australia in the near future. ...
