Bio

Three boys hailing from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Funk Dancing For Self Defence have all the hallmarks of a great alternative rock band. Infectious melodic hooks, loud mosh-worthy riffs, kick ass drums and a bass sound more fuzzy than a 60's issue of Playboy.

Funk Dancing For Self Defence strike a balance between gritty punk rock riffage and polished 90’s alternative reminiscent of bands like Nirvana and Green Day.

The groove in the verse sounds a bit Maroon 5-esque, I like it!

Love where your sound is heading fellas. Catchy, upbeat and lyrics that hit close to home!
