My music/message is from my generation and how I stand now a as teenager, it’s a personal journey, a purging of sorts, from a life that has its issues. There is a level of intensity and anger, which is an element of my personality and a product of a life that frustrates and disappoints me. But also there are tracks that show my motivation and drive towards dreams and an idealised world, not just for me but for all my generation. The music is me, G monster, a pretty little blond girl with a monstrous personality. Growing up, music was a huge part of my life from very young; dance, stage, and singing dominated my thoughts and time from age 2. In my early teens I gained a lot of success with dance here and overseas but become disillusioned with the negative impact it was having on my body image and with it my self-esteem. Music was still my happy place and the dissolver of my emotional extremes; but no longer having the confidence to express myself physically, my emotions poured out ...
