Singer Phanos Proestos and guitarist Giorgio Cardakaris met in the schoolyard in the summer of some time ago. They bonded over their appreciation of Golden Gaytimes, denim shirts and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Their folky blues sound has often been compared to that of Fleet Foxes, Mumford & Sons and Bob Dylan. These comparisons have been made by the boys and their immediate families only. Phanos moonlights as a semi-professional Elvis impersonator. At this time, his services are yet to be requested. Giorgio is a passionate knitter, stepping away from the yarn only to perform. And together, they're Gatsbys.
