      Generation Jones – The last gang in town? So who are we? Glad you asked! Previous Form: The gentlemen dudes in this push have been knockin’ ‘em down in the city since Malcolm Fraser was in office but they’re younger than that now. Alex Waller and John McQueen played in Brisbane bands Scrap Metal and Ducks in Formation, doing more gigs in a year than most bands play in a career. From playing the first ever 4ZZZ live to air concert to supporting The Clash at the last ever Cloudland show, they suffered the slings and arrows of outrageous police state rebop, culminating in the classic, dark, jingle jangle paranoia of “Darkness Falls”, a 12 inch single on the now defunct Green Label. Often found supporting Scrap Metal/Ducks in Formation was Roger McDonald in his own band The Resistors who somehow never quite got through the play offs for promotion to the first division.
