Artist:George Brougham

George grew up in Dunedoo, a tiny town in Central West NSW. Not formally trained, he picked up the guitar at an early age and under guidance from his father, began to teach himself chord shapes and basic techniques. As his passion for music developed, his obsession with the guitar grew, and it was not long before he was playing along to songs by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen and Fleetwood Mac. Coming from a small town, there were not a large number of musicians around, and so George was soon thrust into the limelight as a sort of local jukebox. In his teenage years, George began experimenting with his voice, imitating his favourites as well as discovering new artists like Josh Pyke and John Mayer, and soon taking heavy influences from them. Although he was very shy, the support from his friends and family encouraged him to believe in his own voice. After years of crafting his own unique sound, George finally presents to you his debut EP, 'You and This House'.
