Bio

Ghost Town High make very loud contemporary rock music tinged with the DIY punk ethos of the 70's and 80's. gtH have a sound that ranges from cathartic explosions of noise to layered washes of pensive chords, frenetic rhythmic shifts and honest vocals laid bare all within intriguing musical frameworks. The band members have honed their musical skills and style growing up in a small Far North Queensland backwater (yes, Innisfail and surrounds). The band's name is inspired by the many abandoned buildings and townships littered around their home region which saw its heyday in the 60’s and 70’s. gtH have been gigging around Brisbane for the past 9 months and have steadily gained a loyal following on the strength of their their incendiary live performances, which build in intensity and spill over into cataclismic display of raw emotion and energy. gtH's debut EP "side A: revenge" is available now by contacting the band directly!....we need to get some more printed...our last few EPs were stolen at one of our gigs...to whomever took them; We will find you and crush you like a barbie doll!!
