Perth-based artist Gia Lowe is a singer-songwriter and producer who is obsessed with stories. Originally from the South West, Gia has been experimenting with song writing and the unique way in which music can capture and connect people through shared experience for as long as she can remember. However, it is only in recent years that Gia has turned her hand to producing. Inspired by the likes of BROODS, Lorde and BANKS, Gia Lowe uses heavy, gritty bass and fuzzy, warm textured synths to build a dark, moody, electronic pop sound that is all her own. A no-bars held examination of our complex, paradoxical and often self-destructive nature, Gia’s insightful and often poignant lyrics leads us to question the way we think, feel and interact with one another. Through her music, Gia has created a lens in which both she and her audience can make sense of the world we live in.
