What will you bring to the Taste of Chaos crowd?
What we do in the gifthorse is try and be as true to our selves as possible! we don't pander to what's fashionable, so i guess we bring honest, sincere, melodic rock!
Who are you most looking forward to seeing at Taste of Chaos this year?
Most of the guys in the band were big fans of 88 fingers louie!!! so we are looking forward to seeing Rise Against.
Tell us about your local punk scene.
It's an exciting time to be playing music in Brisbane right now! The bands just blow me away and we have been lucky to play with alot of them; To the North, Arrows, Insepia, Quiet Steps, Paper and the Plane etc. are all incredible. The great thing about shows in brisbane is that they are really diverse, we sound nothing like any of those bands but we feel completely at home playing with them!
What's the best thing about being in The Gifthorse?
...and the worst?
if there was a worst we wouldn't do it!
Australian music is...
pretty bloody good!! haha! Being from scotland and playing in bands over there i can kind of take an outside look at things! When i was at school the only band i had heard of from Australia was Caustic Soda.... so i had a good starting point! but actually coming here and hearing all the great bands in this country; rex banner, kiai academy, lungs, daysworth fighting, a death in the family....... it's just pretty over whelming! i finally got to see blueline medic...how could i not love this countries music!View Profile Hide Interview
