Artist:Gimme Gimme

Will and Esther grew up in a small country town in NSW, learning violin from their mum from the tender age of 3. Will took up guitar after discovering Jimi Hendrix at age 13 and Esther kept on with classical violin. In 2011 Will moved to Berlin in pursuit of love and Esther moved to Melbourne for its straight roads and good coffee. They discovered that writing together was fun and easy and would enable cost-free summer catchups if they gigged their butts off! This exploded into playing shows Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Switzerland and have toured up and down the East and West coasts of Australia two years in a row, selling out venues and making new friends around the globe. The last two years have seen these siblings write and record their songs, which are now ready to release. Gimme Gimme’s music is inspired by the siblings’ addiction to Rage in the 90s, their mum’s favourite artists like Sade and Supertramp, and their own love for current artists, Still Woozy, Van Hunt, ...
