Bio

Glass Empire are an Alternative Rock band formed in the South Eastern suburbs in late 2009. Drawing on influences like Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and Closure In Moscow, their music is a blend of big riffs, catchy melodies and genre-bending sounds.
Their debut single, "Clarity" saw them carve a memorable name for themselves in the Melbourne Alt/Prog Rock scene.
Followed up with debut EP "Cognitive Dissonance", the band began to experiment with less conventional song formats, whilst still retaining catchier elements.
2014's "EOS" has marked the bands most polarised release to date, from the crushing riffs and frenzied drumming of "Automata", to the drifting echoes of "Natives", with "Black Noise" delivering a Tour de Force encapsulation of the band's essence.
Keep your eyes peeled and your ears attuned to where Glass Empire takes their journey next.
