Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always engaging. Glory Tuesday have crafter the art of captivating songwriting. Soulful and thoughtful lyrics, a grooving rhythm section, with soloists from mellow to downright funky. Glory Tuesday formed in late 2004. John Flanagan (vocals, keys, guitar) and James Hodson (guitar) brought together a mix of players from various musical backgrounds. From punk-rock heritage Tim White came with a monstrous backbeat, Lachlan Mason layed down his solid smooth bass-lines which Jane Patterson, from a classical violin tradition and with musical theatre vocal background, added harmonies and timral depth to the band. Glory Tuesday's live performances are something to be experienced. John's heartfelt delivery of the lyrics and James' incendiary guitars solos, Jane's radiant vocals, and definately no shortage of tight funky grooves, solos, craziness and importantly, solid backing from Lachlan and Tim on the backline.
