Bio

Hailing from Brisbane, GO VAN GO play explosive no holds barred rock that will make you question what’s sonically possible from just two musicians.

In August 2016, they released and toured their 3rd EP; “Kill City: Renegades” to a warm reception both live and on radio. They capped off 2016 with a prominent slot at the excellent Red Deer Music and Arts Festival, supporting the likes of Art Vs Science and The Jungle Giants.

GO VAN GO’s 2017 commenced with a bang with 'Always The Same' coming in at #58 in 4ZZZ’s Hot 100, on the back of #97 with their track ‘Switchblade Renegades' in 2016. Each single release from their last two EPs received rotation on Triple J Unearthed, Triple M's Homegrown plus extensive and well received community radio play both home and abroad.

Now the boys are preparing to record and ready some new tracks for 2017 and do it all over again for their FALLING INTO THE SUN TOUR this March & April.

They’re travelling to a few joints they haven’t played yet, & the FALLING INTO THE SUN TOUR is their biggest tour yet. They’re hitting up Ipswich, Brisbane, Newcastle, Bega, Bateman’s Bay, Sydney, Melbourne, & Adelaide is also on the cards, where GO VAN GO will begin recording their as yet untitled 4th EP*

* tentative titles include ‘A’ OR ‘ROCKET SURGERY’.

“Kill City: Switchblade is a party that’s alive and buzzing… Kill City: Renegades will be the after party we’re gonna be keen to tear up.”
Wezley Pitt – AMNplify

“These Brissy lads’ energized brand of garage rock could power an electric beast for days.”

Murdered it with this one guys! That fast-paced, funky bass-line really carries the track and I'm addicted! Instrumentally, this calls to mind some of my favourite UK boys, Royal Blood and I'm not complaining! Keep doing what you're doing!
