Bio

After working alongside each-other musically for some time, Gold Coast pair Jay Bainbridge & Matt Bartlem are ready to introduce Golding, an indie-electronic project formed from the duo’s love for intricately crafted beats, melody, and harmonies.

With a meticulosity composed sound that draws inspiration from artists such as Alt-J & Phoenix, Golding experiment with melody, beats, and space in a way that seeps into your subconscious, swirling around your mind and overtaking your senses.

Layering intoxicating harmonies with charming vocals, and experimenting with warm acoustics and effective bursts of pop, the duo are making an impressive debut with “Weightless World”, and only more exciting things to come in 2020.

Promising stuff from Golding. Good vocal and the track's all full-sounding. Serious Nick Murphy vibes.
