Amali Golden

Bio

After giving us a glimpse into her immeasurable talent with debut single “Broken Wing”, singer/songwriter/actress GOLDS (Amali Golden) today shares her follow up with “Don’t Care”, giving audiences a teaser of what's to come from her forthcoming EP.

“Don’t Care” pairs GOLDS’ powerful vocal performance with layered synths and electronic influences, all the while giving an undeniable nod to the women of 90s/00s R&B and Neptunes era production. Co-written and produced by Beau Golden (Ruel, M-Phazes, Daniel Johns, Vera Blue) today’s release sees GOLDS move effortlessly from the dreamy, introspective “Broken Wing” into impassioned R&B, cementing her as an immensely diverse artist to watch. GOLDS on the single:

“Don’t Care is about accepting that relationships evolve and sometimes they no longer serve you (be it in friendship or in love). It's an anthem to stand up for your own wants and needs, and also to show the other person enough respect to let them go.”

Golden has spent years working alongside the best in the business as a session vocalist and keyboard player, including E^ST, Vance Joy, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, 5th Harmony, Craig David, Missy Higgins & more. She has also found success on screen, starring alongside massive Australian talent with roles in The Other Guy (alongside ex triple j presenter Matt Okine) BLOOM (alongside Jacki Weaver and Bryan Brown), Thor: Ragnarok and upcoming feature Monster Problems alongside Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, Mazerunner).

Having comfortably claimed her solo spotlight with “Broken Wing”, GOLDS is now proving with “Don’t Care” that we can expect big things from her forthcoming EP. Drawing on years of experience working with locally and internationally acclaimed artists, GOLDS launches onto the airwaves in 2019 and into the hearts of adoring fans old and new. “Don’t Care” arrives as another pristine cut from this triple threat of talent.
