GOREFIELD began in January 2011 just as they all do, with three high school headbangers hoping to smash, bash and thrash their way around the world and straight through your skull. December 2012 GOREFIELD entered Tall Poppy Studios in Brisbane with lead engineer Gareth David to record their debut album ‘As Dawn Bleeds The Sky…’. Following this chaotic rush to complete an entire album in only 3 days recording time, the lead single has since been sent to Tom Coyne (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus, Adele) @ Sterling Sound in Los Angeles for mastering. The magnificent album cover art was designed and painted by Andrei Bouzikov, famous for working with such bands as Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust and Skeletonwitch. Their album’s lead single ‘Love Thy Enemy’ has gone to number 1 on the Triple J Metal Charts and stayed in the top 10 for over two months.
