Bio

After quite a few years of playing a drum kit in his room, alone, gorillajunk moved into computers, exploring electronic sound. The lyrics and beat tends to be the backbone of his operation and many have claimed he has a fine relationship with rhythm... and his woman (heard occasionally on various songs). Tones and song production however, well, that maybe is another story. His father first recognised gorillajunk had a fondness for sound when at 3 years old he began making repetitive sounds with the mouth which we renowned party starters amongst the other toddlers. At the age of 5, he was put into tap dancing school thanks to his mum. Strangely gorillajunk had a natural skill with moving to the beat, and by the age of 7 he was offered a ballet scholarship which he kindly rejected and decided to pursue more masculine endeavours such as matchbox cars, transformers and dirt. Nowadays, at the age of 30 he is gradually learning about notes, chords, chord progressions, different styles of singing, seeking compatible collaborators and generally just learning how to sing less like an ape.
