Artist:The Gowrie Boys ft. The Desert Pea Mob

The Gowrie Boys are a group of yr 11 and 12 students from St Teresa's College Abergowrie (nr Townsville, QLD). The mentoring program kicked off last year, with a track titled 'The Brotherhood'. This was a project facilitated by Toby Finlayson from Desert Pea Media in partnership with Vibe Australia and The Smugglers of Light Foundation. The song won the 2011 Australian Indigenous Hip Hop (BUMP) Award (Urban Youth Category), and has over 19,000 hits on Youtube. Their second track 'We Belong' was produced only 2 weeks ago.
