About

When you’re named after Jeff Buckley’s debut album, a career in the music industry is inevitable. Inspired by the likes of Aluna George and Kiiara, Grace Hughes, a 19-year-old singer/songwriter from Byron Bay, is making her foray into the world of electronic pop. On the back of numerous song-writing accolades, Hughes is best known for her collaboration, Take You Down (2016), with prodigious producer Ford Miskin. The track, which reached number one on the Triple J Unearthed Electronic charts and gained significant airplay, was the catalyst for Grace’s newfound appreciation for electronic music. Hughes’ latest offering sees her teaming up with award-winning Australian producer Jean-Paul Fung, showcasing her powerful, alluring vocals and knack for creating catchy earworms. The release of her single, Habit, written over lunch at Balmoral beach, is the perfect mix of edgy and emotive, leaving you eager for the release of her second single.
