Bio

Greenlight is a four-piece from Sydney. Steph Green's haunting lead vocals are backed by a unique blend of fresh Australian indie rock and the Pakistani heritage of lead guitarist Ali Malik. A diverse array of influences can be heard, with comparisons drawn to the music of the Tea Party, the Doors, Tori Amos, Josh Pyke, Sarah Blasko and george. In late 2008, their track 'Multan' was played on FBi radio in Sydney and through 2009 they have been gigging regularly around Sydney, at venues such as the Beach Rd Hotel, The Lair at The Metro and the Factory Theatre. In November 2009, they played the Newtown Festival in Sydney, and in December 2009, they won 3rd place in the Emergenza band comp National finals for Australia & New Zealand. Highly recommended!
