Inspired by an escapist trip to New Zealand during the pre-COVID times, GUTHRIE’s first offering under her new moniker explores themes of reality Vs fantasy, acting on impulse and further challenges assumptions about genre with intricate folktronica production from Sophie Payten (Gordi).

This one got an overcast hue but Guthrie still makes it come to life with some heart-string-pulling songwriting and the blooming instrumentation. Gordi's presence is likewise felt very strongly.
