About

Hakea formed in 2019 between two pairs of unlikely friends from Freo and Duncraig, culminating in a high energy blend of indie and psych rock, introspective lyrics and effects-heavy guitars. Inspired by our growing HECS debts, we write, record and mix our own music from a garage in Duncraig.
