Halfwait is a grunge/rock band based in Sydney. Originally formed in 2010 by high school friends Jon Barca and Chris Tallon. Pauly Vella joined shortly after and from then, they played across the City throughout 2011 and 2012, appearing regularly at venues such as The Sandringham Hotel,The Annandale,The Landsdowne,Bald faced Stag, and The SFX. In 2011, they self released their first EP 'One life one chance" with first single "The Ride" and was soon receiving airplay on Radar Radio and SWR FM Next singles 'Reasons' and 'In Between' were released in 2012 through Foghorn Records Following a two year hiatus, Halfwait, resumed in late 2014, adding Nath Stalenberg to the line-up as bassist In early 2016, Halfwait began recording their second EP (self titled) at Electric Sun Studios with Stevie Knight (The Dead Love) and Dave Petrovic producing. ‘Fly Away’ is the first single released December 2016 and followed by second single "Without you".
