Bio

When Hannah Robinson first started singing, she climbed up on a stage in rural Queensland and belted out a not-so-popular song about eskimos being jolly. She was four.
Based in Sydney’s inner west, the now twenty-year-old songstress has more songs about growing up, falling in love, and broken hearts, than eskimos.
Influenced by the likes of Missy Higgins and Norah Jones, her voice is compared to rich honey, with lyrics that evoke emotion, and melodies that pick you up, and wrap around you like a warm hug.

Her first and second singles, "Midnight Hour" & "Half Past Ten," gained international recognition when they were shortlisted for the Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
After the premier of "Midnight Hour" on "Tone Deaf Magazine", the singer was described, “to become one of our most treasured local singer-songwriters.”
An appearance on Balcony TV Sydney in 2015 saw the singer generate over 42 000 views with the song "Half Past Ten", becoming the most viewed segment of all-time. Coming in at number 13, the song also featured in the ‘top 100 songs of 2015’ on the "Tomatrax Online Music Magazine."
In 2015, the third song off her debut EP, ‘Realistically,” was added to Volume 1 of the Australian Marriage Equality album, “Say Yes to Love.”
Robinson has also worked as a backing vocalist on the album, "Glorious Heights", by Australian musician "Montaigne."

“Luna” is the debut EP for the singer-songwriter, released in August of 2015, and produced at Vienna People Studios. The launch saw a sold out show at Sydney’s “Hibernian House.”

I love how unapologetically 80s the production is, while the songwriting maintains your identity as a writer and vocalist.
