Artist:Haran

Born in Hamburg, Germany to Israeli parents and raised in Australia, Haran is the very epitome of a world artist. After graduating from high school in Melbourne, the talented singer-songwriter was accepted to the renowned music school, the Musicians Institute, in Los Angeles. Only 28 years old, Haran has already built up an impressive body of work and has performed at a number of illustrious music venues in Los Angeles, Tel Aviv and Melbourne – including a performance at the 2011 Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Haran’s distinctive style draws upon many musical traditions, seamlessly fusing soul, jazz, rock, pop as well as her Israeli roots, creating her own unique sound. Growing up, Haran listened to artists such as Tracy Chapman, India Arie, Sting as well as the great contemporary divas; Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and the late Whitney Houston.
