Sydney Conservatorium's Harry Ashton has broken the mould time and time again with songs that make people talk, make people cry, yet still make people want to dance. At 19 years old, Harry Ashton's self-produced EP debut "Messages to Never Send" released independently in January 2020, introducing a unique and exciting injection of influences ranging from John Mayer-esque blues-bop to the slow, wandering, emotionally charged indie-soul ballads reminiscent of Matt Corby or Bon Iver. Prior to his 2020 EP release, Harry Ashton has written and performed his own music as well as others' music, professionally, since 2015. At 15, Ashton became a member of The New South Trio, a surging young indie blues band reaching their own new heights in the aussie blues industry; appearing as the youngest act at Thredbo Blues Festival three years running (2016-19), supporting blues icon Ray Beadle at The Basement in Sydney, and releasing two singles, "Coldstone Blues" + "Sydney", produced by Adam Barns ...
