Hastings & Crawford is a songwriting duo consisting of musicians Ross Hastings and Chelsea Crawford. As individuals Crawford and Hastings have been navigating their way through the musical field for the last two decades. Hastings made his start in the United Kingdom playing with various bands as a guitarist and songwriter. He later moved to Australia where he continued playing and developing his skills. Upon his arrival in Vancouver, Canada he swiftly recorded his first solo album under the name ‘Shot Bravo’. Crawford’s career has been predominantly a solo one. She released her debut folk/jazz solo album, ‘The Masquerade’ in 2003. Shortly after she moved to the Vancouver area in 2006 she connected with Hastings. After playing once together they decided to form songwriting partnership. They formed the band CarnivalEra in 2009 while they continued to play as a duo as well.
