Bio

The Hello Morning began as an acoustic dabbling helmed by Steven Clifford and long-time collaborator Matthew John Smith. Inspired by the classic songs of The Band and Neil Young as well as newer blues statesmen like My Morning Jacket and Wilco, The Hello Morning has soon assembled a 6 piece collective filled with guitars, singers and hammond organs. 2012 saw them release their debut album to 4 and 5 star reviews around the country, radio play across the US college radio circuit, a stand out performance at BigSound and tours across Australia supporting Dan Sultan, Busby Marou and King Cannons. In 2013 they release their newest collection of songs as the Tie That Binds EP including a duet with Melbourne songstress Ali Barter.

You're channeling so many artists I love (Dylan, Ryan Adams, Neil Young) that it's impossible for me not to like this.
