In late 2013 Matt Dowsett decided to form a Pop Punk band with a few mates for fun. After writing a single called "Hourglass" the band thought they could have some fun playing songs like this so they started writing more tracks and after recording a few they made a decision and that was to release this band. After releasing the Pre-Production single "Hourglass" they received a gigantic amount of great feedback for example "I can't stand this genre of music but you guys have changed my mind, I love your tracks." and "I don't normally listen to this genre but WOW!!!" A few days later they released the final product of "Hourglass" accompanied by a new song called "Let It Go" and received more great feedback such as "After hearing Hourglass i didn't think this could get much better but you proved me wrong" and "Let It Go will be on repeat for a few months at least i think!" Heroes In Training then took this feedback and went into the studio to finish recording the EP, they went in bursting full of ideas and recorded as quick as possible so they could give their fans more of what they want.
